"Dragon Cafe is a fantastic find in the heart of chaotic Mong Kok, offering an authentic and welcoming local dining experience that stands out precisely because of its manager. While the classic Hong Kong-style Western food is delicious and comforting, the true highlight was our interaction with the manager, who was not only incredibly kind and attentive but also the only English-speaking staff member, making us feel genuinely cared for in a place where we expected a language barrier. His excellent service, combined with the no-frills, bustling atmosphere, transformed a simple meal into a memorable highlight of our trip, proving that great hospitality is the most valuable item on any menu."

"Breakfast Review Food - Very good quality — better than other places where I’ve had similar breakfasts. - Cheaper than competitors, with more options available. - Taste was excellent, and everything felt fresh. Service - Typical Hong Kong style: not fine dining, but efficient and straightforward. - Smooth and fast — food arrived within a few minutes of ordering. Overall - Fresh food, quick service, and great value for money. - Highly recommended if you’re around in the morning and looking for a satisfying break"

"I walked past this restaurant many times so we decided to c ome here for breakfast. Food-wise, the satay beef and spicy squid instant noodles were my favourites. The milk tea was solid. I have also tried a takeaway egg tart that was really good, with buttery flaky pastry. The only thing disappointing was the pineapple bun that was a bit cold, and the topping was not as crunchy as I would like. Overall, the food was mostly quite good and we really enjoyed the comfortable booth seats even though there were two mosquitoes under the table. Service was friendly and relaxed, staff did not rush us to order or leave when we finished. One lady did spill the coffee a bit as she placed it onto our table."

"Long Shing Café is located just a few steps from Mong Kok MTR station — incredibly convenient and easy to find. The space is surprisingly spacious for the area, with comfortable seating and fast service. Even during busy dinner hours, the wait time is minimal. Black Pepper Pan-Fried Ox Tongue with Sausages – $69 This set comes with four thick slices of ox tongue, sausages, and a generous side of potatoes. Instead of standard fries, the café serves American-style baked potato wedges, which are soft on the inside with a crisp edge. Diners can also swap the potatoes for pasta or rice. For the price, it’s a solid deal for a full steakhouse-style dinner. Hojicha Chocolate Mochi Bun – $12 Known for their fresh-baked goods, the café offers a rotating selection of buns, and this one stands out. Served warm, the bun is aromatic and soft, filled with a gooey hojicha-infused chocolate center. The filling is generous — it oozes out with the first bite — and reveals chewy mochi tucked inside. It’s a rich, comforting snack that’s perfect fresh out of the oven. Signature Crispy Pineapple Bun – $9 After trying the QQ bun, the freshly baked pineapple buns were impossible to resist. One was taken to-go as soon as it came out of the oven, promising that signature contrast of a crunchy golden crust and fluffy interior."

"This cafe is right outside the metro station D exit, which makes it very convenient and easy to find. The place is very big so we didn’t have to wait for a seat even in peak hour. We were expecting a ‘typical Hongkonger attitude’ but their service is surprisingly good. My favorite dish is absolutely the cheese french toast, it is beyond my imagination good, if I had more time in HK i would definitely come back. And their hot milk tea is served sugar-free, you might want to add a sugar or two from the table side drawer."
